University of Michigan India Business Conference (UMIBC) is an annual gathering of members of the University of Michigan India Alumni Association (UMIAA) and guest dignitaries. This year's conference is scheduled for August 11, 2012 at The Leela, Mumbai with the theme “Harnessing the Transformation” and will explore the opportunities and challenges associated with transformation taking place in India.

The conference enables thought leaders to engage with alumni, professors, students and the University administration to find answers to the big challenges facing India and the world. In recent years, involvement of Mr. Adi Godrej, Mr. Arun Shourie, Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Mr. Narayana Murthy, Mr. Gopalakrishnan of Tata Sons and late Professor C.K. Prahalad have shaped the conference and inspired the growing class of business leaders. Last year, the conference was attended by over 200 diverse audiences and received wide media coverage by our partnership with CNBC.
